I'm so excited to be teaching the Sound Beginnings and Presto curriculum! There's no other program that offers this quality of education while at the same time having so much fun! A little bit about me...
I started out in piano lessons at the age of 6. When I was a teenager I began playing by ear and figuring out how to play songs I heard on the radio. As a freshman in college I learned how awesome music theory can be when I started writing my own songs. I graduated from the University of Utah in 2006 with a degree in Music. I've taught private piano lessons for 12 years. One of my greatest joys is hearing my students that I've taught from a young age, now playing challenging and beautiful pieces. I'm married to one outstanding guy and have 4 awesome kids, 3 boys and 1 girl. My youngest son is deaf in his right ear, and while he has some language delays, he responds so well to music!
